Well, after about a year and a half of doing nothing with the blog it's time to blow off the dust and celebrate the fact that I only use a couple of passwords for everything.
It's the fall sports season at Oran High so that means Girls Softball and Volleyball. Both squads are off to fast starts. Softball is currently 6-2 with a game scheduled today at home against Chaffee. This season has seen a two-game winning streak (mercy-rule affairs against St. Vincent and East Prairie), followed by a two-game losing streak (extra inning losses to Sikeston and Kennett), and followed by another winning streak (Ste. Gen, Chaffee, Jackson JV & Clearwater).
On the volleyball side, the Eagles are 1-0 heading into this weekend's B.A. Sports Classic at SEMO. The team is guaranteed four matches; three in pool play and at least one in tournament action.
I hope to have photos from upcoming events. I will also try to get stats for individual games and the season for both teams.
